Alright; Iv gotta build a computer for a mate

He's given me a £2k price to aim for, which should give a nice machine.

Iv already allocated £420 for 2 x 22in flat screens, which I think is a good price, and £100 for the case, leaving, about £1500 for the actual hardware; not wanting to spend it all, allocated £400-450 for graphics, and £1050 for HD, mobo and ram.

I thought that 2 x 8800GS in SLi would be good enough graphics, but is the 8800GTX on it's own better? Or are then any other good ways to spend 400-450 on graphics?

And conroe/intel is the chip obviously, but which?

So yeah, could someone help me spec, a good system, for max £1500, with about £450 spent on graphics. Conroe+ a must.

What case have u decided on?
Which monitors?

I'd go for a GTX over two GTS's

Well a E6600 would be great ;)

They're off another site, so I cant link, but it's 2 x Fujitsu 22in, and iv told him to pick a case, cos im not good at that, and said pick upto £100 to make sure i stick within the price.

But with dual monitor, surely SLi must be better? (or Crossfire)
