Hiya guys,
Kinda want some input on what to do with around £150 worth of cash
. Current specs:
A64 3200+
2gb GEIL Value
GF6600LE 512mb
2x 200gb Maxtor drives
Soon to be (lol) MSI SLI Mobo
TV Card
Anyway, the shortlist:
*Upgrade processor- Can get a 3700+ well within budget.
*New GFX- Only Nvidia considered, 7800 prob MM or similar.
*Raptor- Already one of the first 5 on game maps & boot times aren't much of a prob, so less happy to spend here.
*Get a Lian-Li V1000+
As of the moment, I feel the PC is perfectly adequate but would kinda like to be able to crank up a few things here & there. The 512mb of VRAM is a need, used for some stuff with large numbers of ineficiant 2048 textures (Details on request

I couldn't give a monkeys really about the sound quality, sounds fine to me so have not looked any further & don't really think an X-Fi would be worth it for the frame rate increases.
Any thoughts on where to put this cash?- Not quite sure how CPU limited the current setup is, especially as theres no clocking ATM (Waiting for the new mobo)
