couldn't find much benchmarking about this, but it looks like 3 way sli gtx 260s would be slightly better, however, should have some disadvantages too.. Not sure =(

Or maybe save up and get Quad SLI 295? ~ £610

also SLI 275 ~ £360 is an option hmm

please your ideas

for only 1920*1080, two GTX 260s is more than enough.

No, don't go for QUAD Sli unless your looking to go play at extreme resolutions with AA turned on.
I think TBH you should maybe get a 4870x2? or 2 x 4890's? This would be better i think and it will be a pretty awesome PC.
If you are not an ATI fan then as Ben said 2 x GTX 260's should do well.

If you MUST go Sli then I would go for the 2x260 option Ben M suggested, try it out, you could always add another

Mind you 2x 275 would be pretty tasty too.

hmmm, i always used nvidia graphics, not really sure about ati :S Noise is not a problem, however the heat is.

gtx 260 seems the cheapest solution, but im not sure about future proof.. cant really upgrade the computer every year.

Maybe get a single card for the time being and wait for new generation gt300 and 5k radeons to come out?

I'd say +1 for this tbh, as at the price it's an absolute steal and with the tri-fan cooler it's the coolest running X2 there is. I have a Sapphire one and it laughs at any game at 1920x1200 - simply stunning graphics!
