Dont know if this is the right forum or not so apologies if im posting in the wrong section.

Ok so let me explain...

Im trying to build a collection of the classic Adidas Gazelle OG trainer which has now been discontinued for teh bulkier and uglier "Gazelle 2" which i hate.

Now I relaise Adidas has been making the classic Gazelle OG trainer for decades but i was sadly unaware of this and i only come to realise as it was being discontinued :/

Im trying to source as many colourways as i can in a bid to try to build a collection.

The ones i have managed to find so far are these:

Red

Now im a size UK7.5

My plea is if anyone knows of any outlets or stores which currently still have any deadstock of the OG's please let me know. I've looked and can not find anywhere that stocks any at a size 7.5.

They come up now and then on eBay but generally in used and not teh best condition.

So, if you come across any colourways which are different to the above please let me know.

(Deperatly looking for the Orange & Burgandy colourways)

Cheers

There's a member on here called G1mp or something along those lines. I seem to remember him being obsessed with Adidas trainers so will probably be the guy to ask.

I have 3 pairs of gazelles which I bought about 10 years ago and absolutely love them. I haven't bought many new trainers since. I have black and 2 variations of the blue ones.

I wouldn't mind updating my collection but I'm a size 10 (real man :D)

3 pairs late you 10 years!!! Wow!
My trainers normally last me 6 months before they need throwing out.

Easy with the feet now... My mum has size 2 get so that's where i get it from

I used to have the odd pair of those. I generally quite like the Adidas range.

The lime green or yellow would be my preferred choice there. :)

Yeah I got them on my 18th birthday when at uni and went a bit mad with my student loan at the time (went on a spree which included a playstation 3, nintendo ds and loads of clothes)

Wore them a bit at uni but then when I was back home they stayed in storage until I finished. Found them a few years later and looked brand new so wanted to keep them in good condition.

That lasted about 2 years. They're pretty battered now though!

Pretty much all of the Originals range run pretty narrow at the mid point, even an 11 is sometimes not quite wide enough (like the Dragons I'm wearing right now)

I didn't realise the Gazelle OG was being discontinued?

The Gazelle 2 has been produced since the 70s. I think you might be labouring under a misapprehension here....
Yes I was going to say similar!

Gazelles can be weird, and models disappear for ages then they are back in stock again. I pretty much only ever wore Gazelles for about 25 years and I remember them being hard to get sometimes (even in recent years). I had to resort to Sambas a few times. ;)

I've actually recently started buying Puma Suedes instead, after picking up a pair cheap accidentally in a closing down sale. I find them more comfortable and actually since walking 3 miles to the station and back every day I started to notice Gazelles seem to make my feet stink whereas the Pumas don't. :)

The Gazelle OG is released in new colour ways pretty regularly - I bought the Air Force One blue ones last September. They usually come out seasonally, very few trainer designs ever get completely retired, just cycled.

The Gazelle 2 is a different shoe. There is also a Gazelle Skate that rocks up every now and then.
