So yeah I want a new PC and I want a good computer for running WoW. I only play WoW on PC so I only need to run that no other games. I just want to run WoW with good FPS and good quality settings.

Here is my current specs...

I was thinking of getting this barebone system... (It wont let me link barebone website)

# Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200
# 1 x 2GB 240 PIN 1.8V 800MHZ DDR2
# Black ATX Midi Tower 350W PSU
# Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200
# 1 x IDE
2 x SATA

I need to get barebone as I have no knowledge of putting PC's together or I would get all parts separately. So yeah, what I wanted to know if I would see a speed increase from my current system now with this barbone system I was going to buy?

I also need a new GFX card as mine is outdated I take it. It's a Geforce 7600GS. Please could you recommend me a cheap card just to run WoW flawlessly. No other games as I am only playing WoW.

You don't need much to run WoW.

The main two things you need to look at are getting more RAM, so 4GB. A graphics card such as a 9600GT would do you.

(I play flawlessly in cities and raids on my laptop which has 8600M GT + 4GB + Dual Core)

Pretty much what Lanz said, WoW isn't that demanding compared to other MMO's, unless you do mass PvP on a regular basis, i'd go for something with a bit more power.

I want a new PC any how guys. I want good FPS and stuff in 25 man raids and BG's. I would get that PC but it's pricey for me at the moment. The barebone is about 170 I have my HDD, OS, Drives etc.

So what do you say for that barebone? I also need a good card.

But like you said, you have no knowledge of putting PCs together, so unless you get someone else to help, who knows what they are doing, you could end up with no PC.

For starters, you need to add another £100 on top of your suggested spec for a GPU anyway, plus the PSU might not be good enough, plus you need 2 x Dimms for Dual Channel bla bla bla.

Better off just selling your current PC for whatever you get and buy a new one. As you will come unstuck using your old stuff if you dont know what you're doing.

your going to be pushing £300 for a half decent system to run wow in 25 mans.

min is 4GB ram and i would say no lower then a 4850 or gts250...maybe give us a max budget?

I don't want to drag the topic off subject but you could easily learn how to build your own PC and do it with parts rather than buying one.

Yeah i think it's best to buy that one actually.

How much would I get for my PC do you guys think?

How well would that pre-made run WoW guys? And what kind of settings would I be able to pull off.

The pre-made PC would run WOW great with everything set to high (depending on the size of your screen)

Its hard to tell how much you'd get for your PC, not much, maybe £80 if you're lucky.

You'll also need to buy an OS too, as you probably cant transfer your current one.

What OS would you guys say I should have installed? I dunno whats best Vista, XP, 7... I have XP on my PC and Vista on my laptop. I wouldnt know which one to choose though tbh...

os will make little diff to running wow, xp if 32bit wont see the 4gb, vista works fine for wow...and windows 7 is free untill march take your pic mate

In my experience for silky smooth performance in wow just go for 4890 graphics paired up with a Q6600 CPU. I noticed a massive performance boost when I changed cpu. Maybe a dual core would serve you just as well though.
If you look on the MM you may be able to get both these parts for around £200.00...bargain.
I get constant 60fps at 1920 x 1200 in 25mans with occasional slow down due to server lag (but theres not a lot you can do about that)
I'd stick with windows XP as well...its worked fine for me over the years.. I've heard lots of people having problems with vista in that it seems to reduce the frame rate for some reason.

Though you have stated that you dont know how to build a system it is not hard to do! I am sure if you post your purchase help is always at hand on here!
