i know this is the 3rd thread i have made without actually going for it because of the small boost i would get from a new CPU but now i am hoping to do it.
i have SSDs and a HDD plus i also have a gtx 970.
i will be buying a phanteks evolv itx case and i am hoping to go full loop with it. i dont need the absolute best/most expensive parts.
i have been looking around and i cannot for the life of me find any build that has put a radiator in the front of the case. i do want a front rad because the top can only support 240mm and that wont be enough for cpu and gpu. the specs say the case supports 240mm in both top and front but i havent seen anyone use the front.
so essentials will be;
- D5 of some sort as thats what everyone suggests.
- cpu block (something that i will be able to see the liquid move inside of).
- gpu block (same as cpu). a universal one will do as i hope to get a new gpu next year.
- not so essential but i like the EVGA PSUs.
- no hardline tubing as this be my first watercooling attempt.
absolute max £900 budget.
EDIT - I want Z170.
i have seen them crossover/multiport radiators, they look clean and smart. would make a tidy looking first attempt at watercooling easier.
