Help me with correct song tab!

Through quite a while of searching the net and google, I have yet to find an accurate tab of the guitar solo in the dance tune 'Aerodynamic' by 'Daft Punk'. Reguardless of it perhaps being synthesised it sounds damn cool and I am sure it is possible to play. Most tabs (and my own ear) are accurate for the first four bars but after that no tab seems to cover the rest accurately.

Even at half speed my mortal ears can not decipher it :(

Has anyone here transcibed it themselves or can provide a link to a ACCURATE tab?

Even better, can anyone transcribe it for me? :o
 
Is there a recording of it somewhere? You could always chop the solo out and send it me, shouldn't be too hard, I hope :p Powertab or Guitar pro? (would prefer power tab..)
 
Try learning it to the stage where you can sing it. Then its pretty easy to "play back" the lines you want by singing/humming them (or even playing it back in your head) without the other stuff clouding the mix. Good luck.

Couldn't chop it, but a file has been sent to your email adress... solo at 1.02.

Shame on you for not having it anyway!

Unfortuantly, its a bit too fast for me to sing. Its a widdly one if you havn't heard it.

There arn't even any other instruments when it enters, so it shouldn't be too hard to get the jist of what is going on. Unfortuantly, there are quite a lot of vairations of the 'main theme'...

Hmm haven't got it yet but you know what email can be like sometimes, you used the email in my trust? You could add me to msn and file transfer it over if all else fails.

It has sent (via yousendit) but if you havn't posted to say you have it by the time I return from the gym, msn will have to do.

Meh, I must play it properly. Would be party trick of the century :D In my dreams by the sounds of things unfortuantly.

lol Oops I deleted that thinking it was spam (that's all I get to my hotmail tbh) got it from the Trash Can anyway, will have a go at it now..

edit: just listening to it, lol why do you want to learn this? :p Oh well i'll have it done in a bit.

It's a Fulltone Ultimate Octave pedal I think so that's why it sounds to be jumping all over the place in terms of pitch, it's mostly in just 3 positions though, at first I thought it was tapping but it's definately all alt. picked. If you want help with some of the fingering (oo-er) give us a shout as it's a bit strange.

You ledge.

When I first played it through I thought you had it spot on until I got to the 6th bar, which I thought sounded a little out of place, but I did a little research into the pedal you mentioned, and I can see why you think its this pedal that is making the noise. It makes it sound like there is far, far more going on than there actually is.

Are all the 'variations' to the theme later on due to this pedal alone? It really sounds different later, but I can see where you are coming from!

Yeah what I think they've done is recorded him playing the part as it's written then they've put it through some kind of octaver and manipulated the sensitivity of it in real time as the recording's playing through, as the effect really varies a bit.

I dunno, haven't heard much Daft Punk but as anyone would guess they're definately a band who uses a lot of electronic manipulation to get the sound they're after.
