Help me with first watercooling project

Just measured in the case and it looks like 120.3 is gonna be to big to fit........could Black Ice GT Xtreme 360 do the job

I'm going to be cooling the CPU and GPU with that rad combined with a D-Tek fusion, XSPC 4870 block and a DDC 10w.

The rad wasn't cheap...not much cheaper than a TFC 360 although it saved me the cost of a dremmel to fit a Thermochill in my case so it was worth that. Fingers crossed that it performs as well.

Nice one lads, this is the one i was told about from another mate that its meant to be good. DJ_Switch...please let me know how it goes, glad have not ordered my stuff yet. Thanks to both of you for your help ;)

Ok final check before start ordering:

XSPC RX240
Swiftech Apogee GTZ
EK 4870 X2 Acrylic Full Cover VGA Water Block
Laing DDC 1+ Ultra 18W 12V DC Pump
XSPC Single Bay Reservoir - Black
2 x Feser One UV Reactive Coolant 1 Litre (Clear/Blue)
Masterkleer 7/16" Tubing - 2m
XSPC Pump Top

Think thats all, have just ordered 10 of these D-Tek High-Flow Fitting (G 1/4" Thread, 1/2" OD)....hope thats enough :)

Swweet dude. You will also need a paperclip for jump starting your PSU and some Thermal paste (MX-2). you should have loads of coolent and tubing left over. Oh you want some nice sheers or something to cut the tubing nice and clean. Will be good to compare temps of CPU's once your up and running. Get some pics up of the build stages when ya can.

*Edit* you have fans?

Also am wondering this coolent i chose, does it glow as it says clear/blue...dont understand that. My case lights are blue so would not mind some blue glow as gonna order windowed sidepannel for my case.:)

Yeah def gonna takle some pics, gonna make wife do it with that Nikon D80 i got for her bday :D

Dont bother with that cutter just use some garden sheers or big scissors. Just so it dont look like a dog ate the end (Iv learnt from experience). The coolent looks clear in normal light but under UV turns blue which it actually looks pretty cool be able to alternate between.

Coolio, another quick one, just ordering fans....should i go for 1350rpm or 2200rpm ?? I'm looking into getting blue led ones as well, i'll take it they are the same as normal ?? Also i guess fan guards are needed :)

Also gonna need some uv lighting for the case so coolent can be seen, do you think uv sata cables would do the job or should i just get 4" uv kit ??

All your help is extremely appreciated

Ummm the SAta cables will glow under UV too not actually put out light will they? You will need a UV cathode or similer that will flood your case with UV. I went for the low ones then 7v modded them so there silent but running them normally are plenty fast enough. If your not going to put your finger in the fan dont bother with guards.

Yeah think will go for set that has 2x 4" UV cathodes. So its 1350rpm ones, will also go for normal black as getting UV cathodes....dont want overkill.
