Help me with MS keyboard set

Hi there.

I have the Microsoft Optical Wireless Desktop (Keyboard and mouse).

For some reason, on boot up the mouse isnt recognised. I have to unplug and replug in the usb connector (usb connector for mouse, ps2 for keyboard).

Does anyone know why i have to do this?

Any ideas? Any known reason why it does it? Any way to work around it?

Check your options in your bios would be my guess. I have optical mouse blue and i use ps2 convertor on it, never had issues with it.
