Ok. So iv been away from gaming pretty much for the past 2years. Iv been traveling and working in Aus and Indo. I am now heading back to the UK for christmas but will be leaving sunny England to get to the USA for new years. Which I will then start working. And will be there for a long time to come.

Now, the issue is. I have so many games i just want to jump into when i get back and have a gaming session like no other (2years without gaming, arrg)

Problem is, if i buy a 360 in the uk i wont be able to play US games on it.

So basically it looks like i need to buy a 360 online in the US and get it shipped to me and just take it with me when i fly.

Any ideas?....do i have it cracked. If so anyone able to PM me any good places you would recommend. ;)

thanks in advance.

First of all, Holy Long Title Batman!!

Second, we can't discuss anything to do with cracking or chipping consoles here, so don't ask ;)

Thirdly, be aware that buying in the US and having it sent here can incur import taxes meaning it could end up quite a lot more than if you'd just waited. If you know someone in the US, it'd be better to get him to buy it and ship it to you privately, marking it as a gift with value under $20 so it'll be exempt from taxes.

Fourthly, enjoy the amazing games that have been out in the past 2 years. Dark Souls, Skyrim, Deus Ex, Mafia II, Dead Space 2, Gears of War 3, and many many more :)

Most Xbox 360 games aren't region locked. I have a UK Xbox but I'm living in the US now. The only game in recent memory that it didn't play was Rage. Not that you'd miss it...that game was absolutely terrible. Region locking is mostly left up to the studio. There's plenty of resources online that tell you whether the game is locked or not. One quick google before you purchase is all it takes really.

The only issue I have ever had was DLC being locked. For example, with Black Ops, the map packs were region locked. Every time a new one came out, I had to set up a VPN on my laptop to a UK host and then route the Xbox through my laptop to download them. It was a mild annoyance but only happened once every few months.

Hope that helps!
