This is doing my head in.
My bike has developed a rattle/noise and I can't find it. If I turn the bike upside down I get no noise at all when spinning the wheels. The noise gets louder when I'm freewheeling! I can also feel the clicking through my feet and obviously if I put my hand on the frame.

Help me oh wise ones.

This morning it was still making the noise and after saying good morning to Mark Hughes on the Britannia Stadium car park (serious) I realised I had to stand up, it still made the noise.
Now I can't remember if it made the noise all the way to work but when I came out and rode home it was silent
5 out of 6 commutes have been noisy except the last one, it doesn't make sense.

Yeah I posted earlier on with a theory on the spokes! Either way, a wheel only needs replacing if it's completely trashed generally.

They reckon the wheel is trashed because my brake pads were wore down and I've ruined the rim of the wheel on both sides so with the faulty bearings, freehub and rim I need a new wheel. They also said my chain was 100% worn (they have a test apparently).
Even armed with this knowledge of a new wheel and new chain I can't fathom how they can reach £237 unless it is for an exact copy.
I still don't have the bike so I can take better pictures of it.

Does your bike have disc or rim brakes? That wheel is for a bike with disc brakes, so the rim surface may not be suitable for rim brakes.

I did say I linked to the wrong wheel so something more like this - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/700c-REAR...sure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&hash=item35d460416a

I could take my cassette off my old wheel and put it on this?
The sellers even say they could put a cassette on.

This is a catalogue picture of my bike from 2012 -
