[spec]-£350 help please

Hi people. I'm a long term OCUK purchaser, been so long I cant remember my forum details lol, so had to make this new account. I need your help please.

My system is VERY dated now and is in need of an upgrade. It has taken me a very long time to save up the £300-350 I have to buy replacement parts, but I am now ready to spend. But which parts to buy? Done loads of researching but still very undecided.

My current system:
MOBO: ASRock N68C-S UCC
CPU: AMD Athlon II X2 250 [email protected]
GFX: Zotac GeForce GTX 260
RAM: 4GB Kingston DDR3-1333
PSU: 750 Watt Powercool 80+ Modular PSU (PC-750AUBA-M)
DRIVES: Western Digital 500GB SATA 3.0Gb/s (plus two IDE HD's)
Monitor: Hannstar 17"

MY current mobo restricts any real worthwhile upgrade, but I can make use of the Ram, PSU, HD and case.
I am thinking if I get a new cpu-mobo-gfx combination, then I am good to go, and able to run the latest gen of games etc (gaming being my main pc use) for the foreseeable future. I quite like the idea of sticking with AMD for the the CPU, reason-bang for buck, multi core, and new console ports compatibility (hoping on that one). Not sure whether the AMD 6300 or 8320 is best value-choice, which mobo, and NVIDIA 660 or AMD 7850 or 7870. Been over and over this in my mind, but cant decide.

Please help guide me down my £350 upgrade-spend. Thanks.
