Help me with my faults please

Right.

Firstly I started blue screening randomly.
Then sometimes the monitor doesn't want to start up when I turn the PC on.
I've reinstalled Vista 64 and then it worked for a day and the same faults occurred.
Updated video drivers but no change.
Decided to change the motherboard but now i'm getting 'Bad BIOS Checksum'
Tried to update the BIOS but it can't read the file even tho it's the one i've got from Asus website for that board

I really have no idea what the fault could be :confused:

Specs will help.

Mobo: Asus M3A78
CPU: AMD 6000+
RAM: 2GB Corsair Dominator stuff
PSU: Some random 500w, not sure on model.
GFX: 8800GT

Try mem-test your ram and can you possibly try another PSU.

Don't have any other bits so gonna take it round my mates tomorrow and strip his PC down. See if we can find a fault.

I was thinking PSU as it's not sending power to the GFX card. Even with 4 of my 5 drives disconnected :confused:

deffo sounds like a memorry error
BSOD and the monitor not always comming on
is it one or 2 sticks ? if 2 take 1 out n vice versa
