Hey guys, I'm about to come into a little bit of dosh and want to finally bin my AMD 3000 setup and slip into a small form factor case with a shed load of ram, decent graphics and a core2. I need your knowledge!

My current specs are:

Antec Lanboy case
Akasa 480W PSU black nickel finish (original version)
AMD 3000 Winchester
BFG Nforce4 mobo
Sapphire X800 GTO2
1GB Corsair Value select ram
120GB IDE Maxtor drive
250GB SATAII Western Digital 16MB Cache
Samsung 226BW Monitor

I'd like to go for the Antec Fusion HTPC Case because it's just so darn good looking and what people are saying about build quality etc is exactly what I'm after.

After this I'm entirely swayed by judgement and experience. I'd like to borrow as many features from my existing setup as possible (apart from the case, it has to go!) I'd like to whack 4GB of decent ram, don't mind spending £100 for each 2GB set. Graphics are important as far as applications go, I do play CS:Source occasionaly but I mostly leave the gaming up to my 360 now! I spend a lot of time in Fireworks and Photoshop for freelance jobs or when I work from home.

I don't mind a little bit of overclocking, but I don't want to have a noisy machine. What do you guys think's best for me? I'd really appreciate a little help. Thanks!

You are a bit limited in the choice of motherboards because the case only accepts mATX but the Abit is probably the best overclocking one you can get in that form factor. If you are happy with your existing graphics card then just use that but if not the X1950pro is a nice jump in performance. :)

Thanks for the advice, I think I'll go with what you've suggested minus the hard drive, dvd drive and graphics card (for now). I can't believe memory is that cheap!! 4GB Whoa!
