I'm looking for abit of help as i havent built a computer for awhile.

Not sure if this is possible but thought i would leave it upto the pro's

My Requirements-

It will be media streaming computer, downloading & file server mainly

(No longer need a hard drive)

Would be nice if i could install windows 7 (I have OS already)

Cheapest/Smallest monitor would be nice

Would like a mini atx or some sort of smaller case (so i can hide it away doesnt have to be cheapest would like a nice case though)

Minecraft Server - Maybe other game servers if I find anything (EDIT ADDON)

Budget:-

would like to keep it below £300 or less

(or if someone is selling one I may be interested)

Thanks in advance, I'll check but everyday

the cheapest pc i have done was a dual core amd with 4GB ram and no hard drive or monitor and that was 120.
and a 2tb hard disk to that and its 270 wich leaves you with £30 for a monitor..... need i say much more ? lol

i would spend 350 and even then thats still a very basic system and sometimes the smaller the case you can end up paying more .....

the 2tb drive is killing the build atm. is there no way you can use a 1TB untill the prices for hard drives come back down ?

Thanks for the quick replys guys gives me a good idea of what sort of computer I'm looking at.

I can drop down on the hard drive situation if need be. Infact if it helps make a better computer for just £300 I have a 2tb hard drive that i could get hold of so maybe take off the hdd (also edited the top to take off the hard drive)
