right, as some may remember, my pc has been playing up fr a good few months.
The story? my a8n sli deluxe ram slot 1 and two died.. simple, tested other ram, same story, RMA'ed got the cheaper a8n SE and, same problem.
Ram is fine *will run a full longggg mem test shortly though* but any ram i tried didnt work, so im guessing its the board?
Note, i have 4 sticks of giel value (making 2gig) which is rather handy when playing games and this ram hiccup is really hindering my pc gaming. Crashes out and such or is so slow its not even worth it. (ran everything, and ive just pre ordered bf2142 so i want to be running that asap)
Then, my cpu got crushed somehow and has 2 bent pins, still works though
And, my hdd broke, RMA'ing that tomorrow hopefully.
Anyway, wtf do i do now? Get refund for my mobo (entitles me to store credit from a compet) -.- and get a different mobo? (if so, spec me a few, decent quality, decent oc, digital audio(coax) sli?)
or, is there anything else i can do to find out what the cause is, and why 2 mobos have the EXACT same problem (which seriously sounds like something else isnt working, not the mobo)
Cheers to anyone who can shed some light!
