So, It's been around 2 weeks since moving to windows 8.1 and am no longer happy with the OS system.

Keep a note that on windows 7, I think I had a blue screen of death once in about 2 years.

Now onto windows 8.1, I've had driver BSOD, I've had USB BSOD, I've had SSD BSOD, I've had Graphics BSOD, Memory BSODs, Teamspeak crashing for no reason, Chrome crashing for no reason, Games closing or crashing for no reason. Desktop lock ups, Desktop "freezing" and recovering only to BSOD, I really don't get whats happening with my computer and windows 8.1 but I feel am ready to uninstall this and go back to worry free windows 7.

Someone told me it's possible there's a driver conflict with my graphics card and windows drivers, But I've uninstalled the drivers with DDU and via uninstall with nothing fixed.

Am really getting sick of being unable to play games or go on the internet and everything points to windows 8.1 being very broken...

Hi,

Did you do an upgrade to 8.1 from 7 or a clean install? If it was the former I would try again with a fresh install and the latest drivers downloaded from the manufacturer's web site.

It might also be worth updating your Bios also as there have been some issues with secure boot features of windows 8/8.1 with older bios versions.

Hi there, It was a clean install from 7 to 8.1. Updating bios is not something I can do, Am on the latest bios verison which is a beta and was updated around 2 years ago... Before windows 8.1 even existed. However, On the bios there is a windows 8 feature which I have turned on but it hasn't helped anything.
