Hello,

I have absolutely no clue about Memory, and i need some help!

I currently have:

Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (KHX1600C9D3X2K2/8GX)

[OCUK no longer sell this, i bought it in October 2012]

And i want to upgrade to 16GB

Could you suggest a few kits that might be suitable? Both 2x8GB Kits and 2x4GB Kits [for Add-On] (If Possible?)

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor
MOBO: Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard

What is the main use of the system as in majority of cases 8gb is fine gaming and general usage.

You could just go for 2 x 4GB 1600 the timings of the RAM you have is 9-9-9-27 nearest in stock is 9-9-9-24 but that wouldn't be an issue, would save you money. When looking you'd also want v to be 1.6/1.65 as that matches to what have.
