I built a computar in august and i need a devise to overclock it to 4Gig
I think I need better memory so it can run on 1000 mhz. basically I need help lol!!!!! pc spec

E6400
Gigabyte DS3 F6
Freezer7 Pro
2gb Corsair 6400C5
OCUK 7900GTX
Enermax Liberty 500W

You ram should do near to 1000mhz at 6-6-6-18 timings and 2.2v, try it. What settings are you using atm?

FSB: ?
Memory Timings: ?
CPU voltage: ?
NB Voltage: ?
Mmeory Speed: ?
Mmeory Voltage: ?

FSB: 435-445
Memory Timings: 5-5-5-12
CPU voltage: 1.45
NB Voltage: 2
Mmeory Speed: 880
Mmeory Voltage: 2

my maximum overclock is 3.5 if i overclock it anymore its unstable if i touch the memory voltage it crashes my computar . if i higher it it crashes it so i just leave it on default

You wont get 4ghz without phase change cooling so what thats another £500 on top? just to get 4ghz not worth it imo. Gl anyway your memory will do around 1000mhz but 4ghz is impossible for you i would think unless you have a few bob say £500 around to get phase change! :o

will this good cpu cooler be ok to hit 4GB, Zalman CNPS9700-LED Aero Flower

No, you will need at least very good water cooling although that might be good for 3.7-3.8. What do you have now/current temps?

am running my system 3.2GB 1.42v and my temp are idel 40c load 55c

I still think my memory is holding me bck cause i ccant go past 900mhz if i touch the
default voltage whitch is 1.9 if i higher it up to 2.0 ive tried all the diff voltage it just wont work

4 ghz on air with a 6400 is possible but the chances are very slim indeed. With your cpu already touching 55c load with 1.42v I wouldn't even think of trying until you invest in some decent cooling coz you aint gonna do it on air without seriously damaging your cpu.

Heres a thread by a guy who did it that may give you some ideas.

In intel TAT your going to be at about 55-60C idle so anymore and your cpu would throttle under load id think. Your hopes are too high and you've been looking at the xtremesystems forum too much or something to get the idea you can get nearly a 50% overclock :p

As said you'll need good water or phase cooling.
