Im having a strange problem...im running a I7 920 so the mem controller is on the CPU.

Now i can only see 2Gb of RAM out of 6, the RAM is fine as i have tested it 2Gb at a time with memtest.

No matter what slots i use it only ever sees 2Gb, the system has been running with this set up fine for 2 months, the CPU is at stock voltage and the RAM running at 1.65V.

Im now getting random lock ups with the 2Gb showing!!

any ideas?

nope it just stopped working, the reason im thinking (i hope not) its the CPU is when i turned on this morning it crashed, then only saw 4Gb...i reset and it saw 6, i then done an hour of prime no errors, played BCBF2 and got repeat crashes, then tryed IBT straight crash.
Set my PC to stock, same crashes, now at stock will only see 2Gb.
Nothing else has changed!!

in CPU-Z still showing all 3 sticks, but only 2Gb showing in task manager/OCCT etc
