the other day in a half asleep state i opened an exe on a clients drive that was hooked to my pc, long story short, I now have a messenger bug.

its broadcasting:

i have no idea what it says but i will be damned if i can stop it. im running kaspersky but it see`s nothing. tried a couple of messenger virus removers, they found squat. please help :(

a lot of the messenger viruses don't actually install anyform of malware onto your computer anymore they just steal your account details and send the messages using their own computers sometimes while your not signed in.

I would recommend you change your password asap.
 
By 'Messenger', do you mean Window Live Messenger (MSN) or the Window Messenger service?
