Hello everyone.

Earlier i was experiencing interference and i realised my monitor was running analog so changed the cable so it runs digital and now i have a 3rd monitor being displayed, which i can't delete, i've tried device manager but nothing works

connected to my primary 280x (crossfire) i have
samsung smbx2235 via dvi and lg tv via hdmi

the 3rd monitor, was the smbx but running in analog.

No matter which monitor i uninstall in device manager it doesn't change anything. Advanced settings are greyed out for the 3rd monitor as well.

what is the problem? why can't i simply delete this monitor?

okay i think i have worked out why

in the catalyst control centre desktop management i can switch my monitor between digital and analog, so i'm guessing the 3rd monitor displayed is the analog version of my digital display

Maybe give Custom Resolution Utility a try - in the top left corner there is a dropdown of monitors system has detected - try removing them all through there. Not sure this will help, but worth a try?
