Hey,

I'm trying to set up multiple screens using the extended desktop option under Windows 7 x64. I got this to work somehow under Vista x64, but can't get it to work under Win 7.

Basically I'm trying to get a small gap between my monitors. When I adjust the position of the monitor so there is a gap and let go it snaps back next to my other monitor.

Anyone know how I can get this to work, the gap only needs to be tiny, say 25 pixels.

Cheers :)

This is going to sound fussy... but there we go :p

When I have windows at the edge of my first screen, they cast a shadow over onto the edge of my second screen. It annoys me, but also it annoys me having to have a window that isn't completely stretched horizontally along a screen.

This is the type of thing I mean with shadow. You can see the shadow on the grey desktop.

The way I had it before meant I didn't loose any desktop space, but just I had to move my mouse further to access my extended desktop.

wild guess here. set it up and then edit the registry with the coordinates manually.

Time to go hunting a reg key... Cheers :D

Although I could get a gap on Vista, seems strange I can't on Win 7 though..
