help my DFI SLI DR won't boot

just finished plugging eveything back into my old cheftec full tower . done the normal 1 ram stick on the top orange slot the ram LED is lit and the standby LED is lit but when i come to swich it on using the borad swich or the case one nothing happens , i only have my x1900 installed no other power connetors are pluged in bar the 24pin+4 and the two extras have tryed a safe boot and clearing the comos but still nothing. please help

ps the middle leds on my ram pop up but then there go away after about 10 tp 20sec

Hi,

I just finished putting my DFI EXPERT together. Is this the first time you used the board?

I had problems using DIMM 1 OR 3. DIMM 2 was fine and allowed me to install windows. Im sorting out the mem problem now and hope to hae it fixed in a minute

no i just swiched the board to a new case after upgrading some watercooling gear and the motherbaord cooling i would have though if was dead i would have got no LEDs whats so ever as the standby LED are showing eveything is A ok , and yes the ram is in slot 2 , but even with nothing on the board it should still swich on

edit just tryed to remove the motherboad and tryed to power up again

just tried i cheap0 psu and it boots up to the last of the leds (only 400w no name 20pin) i can't run my system of that as on this psu as i plug in the x1900xt (with no extra cable) it keeps looping on the 1st led
