HELP! My first build

Hi so all my parts were delivered today! Thanking you. Even threw in some Haribo for me

I'm stuck with the ATX Cable!

24 pin but 4 pins are separated, I can't plug in the 4 pin next to the 20 pin as some little plastic catches stop it from being plugged in all the way.

Is this normal or have I done something wrong?

Not connected to the Internet yet to install drivers. My USB Dongle isn't working some reason :/ hmmmmm

Is there a chance the graphics card maybe damages?! It was a b grade purchase ?

I'm going to wire it up to Ethernet tomorrow night and sort out all the drivers. I don't have an optical drive

So I plugged in my Ethernet and reset my router but the PC is not picking up the connection?

Any hints or tips guys to get this working so I can update the drivers?

Hi all, got a day off today so been playing about with it this afternoon.
Managed to download all drivers onto my macbook and usb them. Plugging it into my new build as we speak, so fingers crossed and ill let you all know the outcome.

So on the ethernet driver i have a message saying..

"The Realtek Network Controller was not found. If Deep Sleep Mode is enabled. Please Plug the Cable."

Any idea? Everything else installed fine.

Thanks for the response. The redownloaded the driver from Realtek's direct website and it worked

ALL UP AND RUNNING!!! TYPING THIS FROM MY NEW SET UP!!
