Right i am looking forwards to oblivion for the 360, so i thought i play the original first. After installing it i saw there were some good mods for it, from adding new characters, quests, weapons all the way to making the world bigger and making werewolfs and vamps better. At first a found a couple, then when i really searched i found tons of them i have no idea which i should use tbh i cant be bothered to give them all a whirl as there are hundreds of them  .
So anyone who has played morrowind and has used the mods can you tell me which you think i should get.

*i have the original with all 2 expansion packs*

,thxs

true, no shortage for morrowind mods i have
google these mods
vibrant morrowind 2.0=better textures

balmora expansion 1.4=makes balmora better

giants ultimate=adds extra animals, enimies

world of faces=obvious

better bodies=again obvious

the wilderness=more animals etc

real signposts=readable signposts

traveling merchants=merchants who wander around and sell stuff

anyone know what happened to that massive mod project where they added loads of land and it was divided between mod groups? i remember over a year ago i think when i finally bought morrowind for the PC(had it for Xbox) and went mod hunting i found a load of info and hype about it, but when i tryed to find out what ahppened to it a short while ago i couldnt find anything on it.

The ones mentioned by Knowledge123 are all good mods.

'Wayfarers Rest' is a good one, a tavern you can own near balmora with quests
If you like joining the Legion then 'Legion Shirt' is usefull, adds a shirt that means you don't get told you are out of uniform all the time.

'Bittercoast sounds' as the name suggests

'Junipers Twin Lamps' Anti-slavery group and quests.

I always use 'BalconyHouse', a nice place to call home in Balmora

'Killgores Home Furnishings' is a fun one if want to furnish your own house, it's a shop in Vivec.

'Master Index' Quests to find all the Propylon Indexs and recieve a master index to travel between propylon chambers.

Finally mercenaries, there are a number of BAR mercenary packs, there are a few different parts to get it right but I love having guards outside my house etc.
There is a mercenary transportation mod that allows them to travel back and forth to Mournhold with you.
Also you can find a mercenary guild house mod which gives more mercs and traders just outside Caldera although this is probably the most unbalancing of all the mods I've mentioned.

I almost forgot 'Vivec Expansion' maybe not as good as the above mods but I like the extra platforms and stuff that it adds outside the cantons.

Oh yeah 'Sorefoot Enterprises' adds a couple of extra SiltStrider outposts around the place.

Thanks I'll take a look at that soon, on the site I posted above I went onto the most popular section and clicked the show 10% link and then changed the 10 in the url to 100 (I can't see another way of doing it?) and whoa loads of mods are in there.

Have downloaded about 30 new mods tonight and I'm a 1/3rd of the way down the page :D

Darker Morrowind is a good texture pack.

I was wondering if there was a mod which altars the combat system so its based on collision but I might have to wait till oblivion is out for that

Yeo there are loads and loads of mods out there, even more hours of gameplay than in the entire original game, so much of it quality mods, we can only hope that the same happens to oblivian and in a couple of years time we will be discussing the awesome mods that were made for that game.

Heres to modding may you last forever :D
