Hi everyone

this has become more and more frequent, I keep on getting blue screens and im not too sure why.

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz
XFX 850W XXX Edition Modular '80 Plus Silver' Power Supply
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-15000C9 1866MHz Dual Channel Kit (CMZ8GX3M2A1866C9)
8GB (2x4GB) Corsair Vengeance Blue, DDR3 PC3-14900(1866),
Gigabyte Z77X-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard

any help would be great as to the cause of this as I dont have a clue.

Intel 330 Series 120GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Hard Drive
Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM (ST2000DM001
Samsung 250GB SSD 840 EVO SATA 6Gb/s Basic

what os you using? it shows a code similar to the one I posted above when you see the blue screen of death

try and catch the numbers at the end

don't know unless I can see the bsod code

in the meantime I would flash to latest bios for the board then manually set

pcie/cpu clock to 100
pwm phase control to extreme performance
vcore voltage response to fast

all that will help with stability whether at stock or overclocked
also enable xmp/profile 1 for your memory if it supports it

Crash dump directory: C:\Windows\Minidump

Crash dumps are enabled on your computer.

No valid crash dumps have been found on your computer

Nathanael, try installing BlueScreenView to see if that does show anything after a crash.

And can you clarify if you have 4 x 4GB RAM in total, or 2 x 4GB? Thanks.

try with 1.15v cpu/vtt voltage in the bios (it could be this that's causing the bsod's,not enough cpu/vtt with 16gb of ram )

when does it do it? anytime web browsing/gaming/sitting in desktop ect

I would try more cpu/vtt,you nearly always need more with 16gb of memory, and auto wont set it right, stock 1.05v isn't enough either
