need some info about ideal bios setting for my new pc, i have a phenom2 955, asus m3n78pro - new 1102 bios, 500gb WD Black and a 600w PSU, onboard nvidia and kingston 2x2gb 1066mhz ram (cl7) at default or auto my bios sets the memory at 800 but on cpuz it shows 400? I am total newbie and dont really understand any of the multipliers and stuff, any help to optomize my current setup would be appreciated, I do not wish to OC just yet, want a nice stable system to start with - all help and advice welcome.

cpuz is showing it as 400 because thats the basic speed, but its actually running at twice that because its Double Data Rate, so it is running at 800 as it says in your BIOS, quite often 1066 RAM gets recognised as 800, you have to manually set it in the BIOS, so just select that speed from DRAM frequency, it will then show as 533 in cpuz
