Recently, two of my games (Alpha Centauri, Galactic Civ 2) have been acting up (actualy, I haven't maanged to run them properly) due to the following error:
at a random point within the game (usually between 2 and 45 minutes) I get an error that the Services and Controller App had encountered an error and needed to shut down. The error was caused in services.exe. When looking through the details of the error, I get another screen saying that NTAuthority/System had initiated a system shutdown, due to Status code -1073741819 in services.exe. After a 60second count down, the computer restarts.
Any idea about wtf is causing this
