Help my WRT54GL and NTL broadband won't work :(

Hi all

This is my second router as I though the first was faulty, router status says I have an IP and all light on NTL 250 modem are lit but I can't get to the web??

Just drops out and won't connect?

Should I be cloning the modem MAC address? I have the latest firmware and I'm running XP, router set to DHCP??

Please help

have you tried resetting your modem?

Numerous times this evening, when you say resetting you mean turning off for 30 seconds and then on?

Can you connect to the modem itself? http://192.168.100.1 I think.

Yup I can get to the modem via that IP, I get an IP from NTL according to the status page on my router but I can't then go to the web?

Well I have upgraded the firmware from standard linksys to DD-WRT and so far so good........!?
