HELP! name that song!

Hi all, i've been listening to radio 2 a lot at work, and theres a song on there that i thinks brilliant....problem is i never seem to catch the artist or name of the song (the joys of working in a machine shop).

All i can say is that its got a male singer, and the chorus begins quite high pitched, and gets even higher toward the end of the chorus.

As with words...i don't really know.

Any info, and even wild guesses would be great.

Oh, and i think the songs by 2 people.

I think Mika has a "solo Scissor sister" quality aboput him but far more Popier, To me he is the most upbeat and poppy-pop act there is right now
