HELP..need m/b for conroe

guys im about to order my stuff for my new conroe rig.gonna get the e6300 cpu but am stuck on mobo.was happily going to get the gigabyte(ds3 or ds4)but have read nasty things on these forums regarding memory issues.is it true cheapo pny memory from .....arhhh pc world, seems to run fine in these boards.if this is so will it really matter if i run a divider and get the cheaper and apparently more compatible pc5300 memory.
any advise on memory or mobo would be HUGELY appreciated.

Yes the PC4200 cheappy ram runs well. Wouldnt mention shops on here.

I have done the whole trip with my DS4 mobo, eventually found that the G.Skill 6400 HZ ram works well. Then sold my Cheappy ram on ebay, at a huge loss

System runs super stable and OC'd

Now running sweet with a E6700, Nvidia 7950 and G.Skill HZ RAM. Thats my reciepie.
