argh. ok my girlfriend doesnt really like pc gaming. What quick multiplayer games (over internet or lan) can we play together on?
(free or paid) any game that is good please please please!

I Either find something she likes or spend time doing everything she likes........

also her laptop is modern (1 gig c2d) but she only has integrated graphics :(

save me thanks

Christ, try spending some time apart if she doesn't like gaming! Then you can both do what you enjoy for a while.

Or get a Wii. :)

Serious Sam: First Encounter
Serious Sam: Second Encounter

Both of these will play on that laptop!

These games are co-op as well, and setting up a server is a breeze. Plenty of online games going on as well!

I showed Serious Sam to my girl and we played all the way through both games, and then did it again. We're now building her a gaming PC so we can play Serious Sam 2! Her daughter also joined in remotely, and possibly her son will too. Excellent fun..........

the original Unreal Tournament!

Easy on the gfx, cracking game although you may have to do what i did and run around her not shooting so she could get a kill :)

If you slaughter her, she wont want to play again.

But then you have to sit there nodding while she tells everyone that she killed you so many times!

we only see each other at the weekend though. Instead of shopping, cooking, cleaning, going for walks(!) and watching soppy movies i fancy a multiplayer game.

Some good suggestions so far though anything which requires some effort (ie buying 2 games and installing on both machines and faffing about with various net bumf wont really float her boat...she will just get annoyed lol)

She had a lot of fun with that flash tower defense game that was posted in GD a few weeks back. Something similar? online rpg? or top down multiplayer racing game like good ole micromachines?

Ive got Baldurs gate 2 maybe i could install it on her laptop and we could go co-op through that? (or would i need 2 copies of the game for that aye?)

Hrmm i guess i could try and get her into Vanguard... I have a 10 day key she could use and she could just install it using the discs i have for my game? (or is that too naughty?)
oh wait bugger she only has an integrated graphics card sooo thats a no hrmm...

I used to play C&C Generals with my ex a lot, it was fun. I'd recommend WoW, but that's always risky ;).
