Not having much luck, my mates Warranty ran out just over 3 weeks and now his computer is messed up, I reinstalled everything with the DVD given to him by DELL, everything was okay until the computer had a default HD Partitian 10gig on C drive and the rest on D drive.

I wasn't there at the time of this process and now I want to do a complete system wipe out, but I can't.

Dell gave a DVD that doesn't give you the option to do this, any help is good, thanks in advance

can you do it using a normal windows CD/DVD or connect it as a secondary drive on another PC then format it on that?

Make sure that the disk you have is a windows disk and isn't just recovering an image from the disk or a hidden partition on the hard drive.
