HELP needed, Dead Pixel in new 650D

All i can do is laugh right now..... I bought a 650D, new, from a seller on amazon on the 19th, because the weather has been so bad i haven't been able to get out with it, until now.

I was using my 10 stop filter to get some long exposures of the sea, when i got them home and on to bridge i noticed it straight away, bright red pixel on all images on the same place.

I thought it was my monitor but simply moving the window showed me otherwise. I changed my lens and put my camera in a dark room and did a two min exposure...... it was there!

Im gutted, my question is where do i stand, can i ask for my money back? I bought it on my credit card but i have paid the balance off, am i still covered?

Oh i do understand i can very very easily remedy the issue in LR and PS but its the fact its a new camera and i never had that issue on my 300D or 550D.

You'll always get them. I was annoyed when I found one on my 6D after just getting it. I found it at some point, but have never noticed it since.

while you are more than likely right as it dosent show up on anything other than long exposures, im still going to push for a replacement.

it does it in all exposures and all iso's ive just shot a ton of images
