Help needed....Freezing.

Hi all, just joined after building this rig and its driving me up the wall. Ive built a few pcs before and never had a problem but this one is giving me grief.
Installed a nice new install of windows 7 and all boots fine, but when i go to do something it all seems to judder and freeze, e.g click on favorites button in ie 8 and it takes about 5 to 10 seconds to open the list of sites, too long considring theres only this site and google in the list.
Also tried to run crysis but it just judders and seems to drag if you know what i mean.
Sorry description so long but this is really bugging me and any help would be appreciated cheers.

you have installed all the relevant drivers right? chipset/graphicss

i still dnt understand ur prob, is it lyk it freezes completely or it takes longer to open window or to run game??

Have you tried other OS's (dual boot) to see if it is a windows 7 driver issue?

All drivers are installed correctly, im going to try vista later to see if its window 7 prob,
