Hey guys,

Ive saved up quite a bit of money and want to buy a gaming PC but im struggling to decide what id want in my build.

Some of the things ill use my PC for -

Gaming in 1080p
Streaming games like CS:GO and PUBG
Competitively playing CS:GO which i would want to run at 200fps on low settings

My budget is around £1000-£1300
i think ill be ordering from overclockers as i dont have the experience of building and my parents dont trust me to try.

Thank you for reading please leave suggestions for builds down below THANKS!

I find that sad. There are good reasons for buying pre-built but that's not one of them, particularly if you say it's your money you've saved up, so why don't you build it yourself anyway and teach them, and yourself, to have a little faith in you. If you never allow yourself to try, you'll never have the experience of building. They probably don't know that even very young kids can put together computers these days. Tons of building videos on youtube. Unless you're using their opinion as an excuse, then if you'd like to do it, do it man.

Yh im kinda sad aswell about my parents not letting me as a 14 year old i think i should have the trust to build a pc especially when its my money and ive seen pcs being built in real life as my cousin is a pc guy but he cant come to help me because of uni and being in america hes not coming to UK for a couple more years i think and if he came i think hed rather spend it with his family not building a pc

i also think its unfair as i am planning on doing IT in college and uni so itd give me good experience but i cant do a lot as my parents do not allow me and say i either buy prebuilt or keep my 2012 mac for gaming which has a 750m :D

for the second pc i think id rather go for a i7 and 1060 than 1070 and i5 because streaming is heavily processor based isnt but ty for the suggestions ill look into it :)

Worth looking at gamers nexus reviews. Yes having cores help but you need to keep your lowest frame rates as high as possible when streaming or recording .
Plus new i5 are 6 cores which helps . It that's me personally .
Heck, if you've got an old pc can use that as the streaming rig :D

good point tbh but i dont think i can you use my current rig because a old imac with a i5 2.9 ghz and a gtx 750m with 1gb of gddr5 memory and 8 gb of ddr3 ram is gonna carry out a stream in 10fps+ :D:D:D
