Help needed - I have a virus (Crap title edited)

I got a virus earlier. I won't go into details, but basically it was my fault.

I've run AVG Virus checker, Stinger, Adaware, Spybot and done a system restore.

AVG found 4 infected files and apparently fixed them all.
Stinger found nothing
I ran Adaware and Spybot after the viruses were removed, as I kept getting popups and stuff, they found about 125 entried between them and fixed them all.

Task Manager will not load. The clock in the system tray shows the time only, no date, as it used to. My quick launch bar also disapears after each restart, even though I enable it.

I've found a few files on my C drive that look suspicious, one was called 'setup.exe'. I keep removing this and then it's back after I've restarted.

While typing this AVG has popped up to say it found a virus and fixed the problem. I then deleted the folder it said was to blame in program files as I had no idea what it was and nothing else was in the folder after the file that contained a virus was removed.

Any ideas?

EDIT: The task manager and msconfig exe files apparently contained a virus, so AVG says!

System restore usually brings back the viruses and needs to be turned off

Turn off system restore and do an AVG/Housecall/Bitdefender sweep.

Should clear it up, some viruses do jump and hide in the system restore area.
