Hi,
I've reinstalled windows before to my intel SSD, but am having problems this time.
I have a secondary conventional HDD for my documents, whilst the OS is installed on the SSD. I disconnected the secondary HD before restarting with the win7 disk in the optical drive. Upon the win7 installation screen, I proceeded to format the SSD and delete both partitions, so that windows could sort out the partitions for me during the installation.
However the following message is then presented:
"Windows cannot be installed to this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the BIOS."
As far as I know I haven't changed anything in the BIOS at all, and as said have previously installed and reinstaled win7 to this SSD before.
Any ideas? Thanks all.
