Help needed... is my monitor ruined?

Hey guys. Need your help. My imperfect but beloved LG 29" Ultrawide might be finally dying...

DVI to my PC, or HDMI to my macbook, I get the same glitches and artefacts.
Has it finally had it?

Please can anyone help??

I don't see any other way... I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this issue and if it's a repair job or not!

UPDATE

weirdest thing ever

Lost my patience, stripped the back panel off, removed all the ribbon cables and cleaned the contacts. Blew the dust out etc. Nothing much there

Tested while disassembled, still broken.

Reassembled, still broken.

Left on, took a shower.

Came back, monitor fixed.

F%ck knows what it was but I (inadvertently) fixed it.
