Hello all, I made a thread but it got ignored so I'm pleading here.
I recently bought a Logitech G35 and have had nothing but sound driver issues since I plugged it in. My onboard sound drivers seem to be causing the issue.
The problem arises when I try to adjust the volume and my volume adjuster just freezes and cannot access any sound options in the control panel to figure it out.
When I pull the usb headset out and restart my computer my speakers and all sound works perfectly. Then if I plug my G35 in my speakers stop working and I get sound from my headset... naturally..
But after a while or a restart and I try to adjust the volume, or switch to another application with sound I get the issues again and the whole system sound just doesn't work (speakers and headset).
It's VERY frustrating and I'm not sure how to solve it. I can only think it's due to my onboard sound drivers, which I've tried to disable and remove, but upon every system restart they just get automatically installed again. Plus I actually want some onboard sound drivers for my speakers....
Please help.
I've also installed the G35 software but this is just a programme to configure the buttons on the headset and not drivers.
