A client of mine has a 18gb outlook pst file and he wants to migrate to Office 365 or newer offline version.

Their office has 3 computers all using outlook and all connecting to the same mailbox. 2 of 3 PCs outlook opens fine but on 3rd pc the problem is there's an error that occurs when opening outlook. I can't remember what it is off top my head this evening but when googling it says to run scanpst.exe etc. I've done all that but still can't open it.

What is the best way to sort this out. Can I archive this pst and then create a new one. It's been so long since 2007 outlook I've forgotten how to support it.

I have no idea to be honest. I work in IT which means mates and other people all come to me thinking I know how to do old things. I specialise in Epos and my old outlook skills have long gone. Doing this as a favour so I will start with moving pst from working pc to broken one.

The endgame is to migrate to Office 365 but with this 18gb archived so they can access it when needed.
