Help needed modifying image

So I have a image file I've had sat around for a while, not too sure where I got it from originally, but I could do with the shadow being removed. Ive tried to do it myself but I can't figure out how to do it.

So could someone do me a favor and try to remove the shadow from this file please ?

Just had another play with this file myself and I think that its too low quality to edit. I used to have a much higher quality version of it but it seems I have lost it somehow.

V low res, as you say - but is that any good?

I remember where I got the file from originally, its the logo from DAoC but before they changed it to what it is now. Unfortunately that means that I can't get a higher res format of this image, only the newer poo one.

No problem, glad to be of service. Its a bit ropey around the upward curve of the tail - I just used my pen tablet and painted white over the shadow, and I seem to have gone a bit off the mark at that point. I'll have another crack later.
