Help needed network (home)

Hello,

Well I have 2 Belkin "Wireless G Desktop network cards"... I have installed one to the downstairs pc, one to the upstairs.

They both connect and can see each other and say they are "connected" with excellent signal strength.

I just now need to know how to get internet on BOTH of them, I am on the pc with the modem connected, and on "Show all connections" It has seperate BT connection for the modem, and the "wireless network connection",

Please help thanks!

By the way I presume they are in AD-HOC mode already as they both connected windows says.

Back again, erm I got the internet working on both

Just need to know how to see each other computers documents


Also, at the moment they are only firewalled, is that enough?
Do I need WEP/WPA?
