Hi I have an overclockers Mosasaur. It's 2.5 years old.

The spec is;
I7-2700k 3.5ghz sandy bridge lga 1155
Asus p8z68-V gen3 motherboard
Antec kuhler h20 920 cpu cooler

Since yesterday the pc is shutting down, hard stop, no errors, sometimes also failing to load even windows.

Temps seem ok but fans seem really low at 650rpm in bios....

Am at a loss. Any ideas?

maybe a failing psu?

how much vccio are you using? I would manually set to atleast 1.15v from stock 1.05v then see if it still does it

ohh download ssdlife and check to see the fw version and hours use of the crucial m4 ssd,it has a knwn freeze bug issue if around 5400 hours use,its fixable by updating to latest firmware

Vccio is now upto 1.15v from stock.

Ssd life says excellent and the ssd is on the 070h firmware.

It's strange its just locking / freezing no errors at all :(

did you try with more vccio voltage? your running more than 8gb of ram so I would try with 1.15v vccio

if it still keeps happening I would try and test with another brand of psu if you can

Actually we are noticing now it's crashing with screen corruption almost as if it's the graphics card. Particular when running a 3d game like wow.

is it still crashing with more vccio?

are you setting the power control to 20% in catalyst control centre/amd overdrive? try that aswell
