Help needed please, BF4 no sound ?

So I was playing BF4 yesterday afternoon and the game was fine....but when I went to play last night...I had no sound in game what so ever ...I did try BF3 and also star wars battlefront and they are fine with sound , its just BF4 , so I'm totally lost as to what the issue is and what to do next ...can anyone help please ?

Check in game settings and double check its set to the correct output?

Well I have checked settings and so on...but I've not changed anything, everything is as it was when I played yesterday

Try checking the integrity and repair game in Origin? you sure the settings in game have not been muted?

well I in fact reinstalled the game

muted ?...sorry to sound like an idiot...but where would i check for that ? lol


plus i just went in to BF4 and the game looks a little shaky too

load the game
go to windowed mode then alt and tab to desktop
right click on speaker icon on taskbar
open volume meter
is the one showing bf4 icon high?

Well I have to say I'm a tad embarrassed ...I did what Twirly suggested and indeed the BF4 volume was right down , so thank you

Yeah Agnes , the game as a whole didnt play as it usually does , it was very glitchy and not smooth as I would expect it to be...hmm wonder if my card is having issues
