Hi All

Ive built a new system and ive seen many nice overclocks with simular , but for some reason ive hit a wall at about 2.64 (about 240 x 11). It's stable at 2.56 (236 x 11 ) and the cpu temp is 36 deg on full load .
I will list my systems and if anyone has got a simular set please give me some pointers as im new to this type of bios.
Cooling is no problem i just want to get the most i can out of it.
Step by step would be fantastic

Thanks in advance

36degress full load ?
What you using for cooling ? Water ?
My 4800 is at 2.75ish on water and temps are 30 idle 44-46 load , mine hits a wall around 2.8 but thats on 1.5v(the boards max :( ) wish I had more(I might volt mod it yet if can be ar*ed.
Have u tried cpuz and checked voltages there instead of pc prob ?
I would think to get over 2.7 you would need more than 1.4v but you do need to verify that voltage before going any further.

Thanks for reply , Im using titan amanda Tec cooling

ill download that program you said and give it a try..

Ill post back results

PC probe is pants, use Coretemp for monitoring temperatures. Most software i.e PC Probe, Speedfan, CPUZ will report a vcore that varies quite a lot. As long as it's not set as 'Auto' in the bios, you'll be fine.

Thanks for info .

Ill try look for some info on what voltage is safe to use 24/7
