My computer is running Windows XP(Version 2002).
As i'm into graphics work and want to use the full features of cs4,i need to update my graphics card and anything else for that matter.
I was reading a review about cs4 and i came across this.
Nvidia have long been the favourites for handling the OpenGL platform ever since they snapped technology from 3dFX and used it in the Geforce line of cards. Aside from this, Adobe developed the feature together with Nvidia. Chipsets like the 8600, 8800, and 9800 can still be found for relatively inexpensive prices and should all provide fantastic performance when handling images. The card must also support shader model.
Am i better off buying anew system or not.
If anyone has any suggestions, can you give me the links,so i can go and buy them, obviously from O.C.

Even though CS4 does use the GPU a lot I do think it would be worth you looking at getting a new system if possible, one with core2 architecture as CS4 is optimised for Intel based chips now...

I know its a little more but I wold go with the black edition :) If your not using a 64bit OS you might want to reduce the RAM to 2Gb as 32bit OS do not using that much RAM
