Help needed please

Hi Well its finally died on me after months of trying this and that to keep it going.Well 10 years old (i think) it has served me well .
Spec:- Amd 3500
Radeon X800
dfi lanparty
500 gb HD
Hitachi cml174s
Got a budget of £1000 for a

CPU
Motherboard
Ram
Graphics card
hard drive
monitor approx 24" (My old monitor is ok but wrong colour and small)
Black case
Sound card ( need to be able to route electric guitar thru it )
Power supply
cooler

Need the best for the money as I do a bit of every thing on it and need it to last another 10 years

Decision ,Decisions Would the on board sound be ok for routing my guitar thru my PC or should i get an seperate card .
Gonna do a bit of gaming so a middle of the road card should be ok and should be adequate for a couple years ,I hope
