anyone got any ideas pls im really stuck and i carnt load up any of stuff on my pc as the x25 in nearly full

Click in order.

Control panel

Administrator tools

Disk management

Is it formatted/allocated space?

You need to initialise and format the drive. Click start > search, type 'administrative tools' and from within here open 'computer management'. Then click 'disk management' and you should see your drive. From here you should be able to format it so it's seen by Win 7.

Go to control panel/administrative tools/create and format hard disk partitions, select the 1tb drive and format it in ntfs

this is wat it says in dics management

disk0 system reserved 931.41 gb
basic 100mb ntfs unallocated
931.51gb healthy
online

forgive me but im not to clever when it comes to pcs

hello again guys im haveing a bit more trouble nothing to do with the pc thats really good its my lack of knowledge :) as i have stated in the first part of this post i added the ssd to my package and you guys helped me out with sorting the hard drive out
i done that and it is now the E drive windows 7 was already installed on my pc on the ssd but the problem i am having now is installing stuff for example i am trying to load upone of my game empaire total war and as most of you will no you need steam to do this. well this does not let me choose which drive i want to put it on it just assumes that it will go on the c drive which is where windows is installed and oviously it wont put it there not anough room as its only a 40gb ssd.
and thats not the only whith that game its also whith other things. wat can i do

the only thing i can think of is uninstalling everything and making the segatbarracuda 720012 1tb sata 2 32mb the main drive and putting windows on that and basically starting again.but im worried thats not the right thing to do as the pc came with windows set up on the ssd (localdrive c) any help would be good cheers

Before you uninstall steam, copy and paste the steam folder from c/program/x86 to the seagate drive. After uninstalling steam, go back to the steam folder you copied to the seagate drive. Inside it, double click on steam.exe (Its the one with the steam icon. Theres 2 similar icons so make sure is the one that has 'application' next to it).

It will then say something like steam needs to be repaired. Say yes. After that it should start working and all you games will go to the seagate drive and not the intel.

Yea and programs as well. You can relocate your music, videos, etc folders to the seagate drive as well if you want. The risk-free way of doing that is: right-click the folder (whether its music or pictures, etc) click properties, click the 'location' tab, click 'move' and select where you want the new location to be and it moves everything there. It you want to change it back later, do the same thing again but select 'restore default' instead.
